I used to confuse Matt Moulson and Matt Martin.
Thankfully for us, Martin is out scoring Moulson this year!

At this point it was time to move on. Wilson has the same point total, skates better and at least can be somewhat useful on defense. Also the 900K or so covers his sarlary in retention with him dropping to the AHL.

We were discussing this in the Mazanev thread. He must have been cut loose at some point and nobody reported on it.

What is interesting is that Buffalo loaned Moulson to the Ontario Reign (LA Kings AHL affiliate) after he cleared waivers so he could be closer to family (he is Quick's brother-in-law), at least that is the only thing that makes sense.

One thing of mild interest for those that find these types of things interesting: McKegg gets waived (LHS center on a team with nothing but LHS centers, except the guy who took is job [Rowney]) after playing in nearly every game this year. Yet, he is exposed. Archibald, who has played about as much in the NHL this year as I have, is preserved. I don't have a point that I'm willing to put a stake in, but it's worth saying aloud to those who talk about the intricacies of roster management...
