Vegas must be taking a page out of San Jose's book. Rope a dope them in the first, then come out guns blazing in the second.

Reaves just freight trained Brodie.

Haha, Reaves absolutely steamrolled Brodie with a clean hit, and his d partner Hamonic comes over to make a pretense of "sticking up for a teammate", but it was plainly obvious he wanted nothing to do with that confrontation, keeping Reaves at arm's length with his stick and not even looking Reaves in the eyes as Reaves was jawing at him, looked like he was taunting Hamonic with his tepid response to his d partner getting destroyed.

Fake tough.

2-0 Knights

Flames imploding, took a too many men call. Ironic thing is though, there weren't enough men on the ice when Reaves made half of them soil themselves.

Stupid Sportsnet showing a graphic that the Flames have the easiest last 4 games of the season.

The only problem is alot of the teams battling for wildcard spots play each other...what do they think, no points will be awarded those games.

Make it 3-0!!

Just as I expected, the Flames are hung right over.

Karlsson with a second period hatty.
4-bagel LV

Put 10 up on these phony f*** heads.

Colorado gonna go up on them Hy 6 points, but Calgary needs 7 to take over the spot.

Crazy save by Fleury just now.

The coming out of William Karlsson is absolutely incredible

He's shooting at 22.5% this year (had been a 7.7% shooter in his NHL career prior to this season), which is in no way sustainable. He's just having a magical season where absolutely everything he shoots is finding its way past the goalie.

As a pending RFA it's going to be very interesting to see what price point Vegas tries to sign him at. IMO he's a prime candidate of getting a huge long term deal in the offseason, then go on to never be full value for that deal.

"If you're just joining us now, it's a 4-nothing game but the Flames haven't played that bad. It's really not a 4-nothing effort."
-Cassie Campbell

Unbelievable the turd polishing she does. Almost like her husband works for the Flames....

Never change, Sportsnet. Bunch of hacks and Flames nuthuggers.

Yeah came here to see if anyone else has been listening to the hilarious comments by the commentating crew. You would think the Flames have been peppering the Golden Knights and have the 4-0 lead today the way they're propping the Flames up

She's right, it's been a 6-0 effort. Smith made a big save in the first and in the second before the flood gates opened up.

Then this gem: "The Flames are really missing Tkachuk today. You just know he'd love to be out there getting under the skin of Reaves."

The only way he'd engage Reaves is if the linesman was between them and had a hold of Reaves.

Gems from the cowtown radio show tonight.

'If we throw out the third period, I think the Flames were the better team for about 11 1/2 minutes and the Sharks for about 8 1/2.' (Uhh ... what about the other twenty minutes).

'Sharks scored seven but didn't play that well. Other than Kane, Pavelski was the only guy I really noticed'.

'Martin Jones looked shaky for most of the game' (said while making 1000 excuse for Smith including he must be tired from shutting out the Oilers).

'I think Johnny is really growing into the type of player who fights through the hacks and whacks. Early in his career he would look to the refs and expect a call. Now he just fights through it and makes great plays.'

Now talking about signing Kovalchuk on a one year 'incentive based' $2 million deal. :biglaugh:

how about the part when that Pat Steignberg fool said they are only in "year 1 of the playoff window opening"

Cassie Campbell: ‘Except for a 9 minute stretch, the Flames have been the better team, just like against San Jose, when it was only a 6 minute stretch’.

Hrudey must have gotten to her.

This is how the Flames media now keep score. They tote up the number of minutes during which the “Flames were better”. So, they actually beat Vegas 51-9, and they beat San Jose 54-6.

Better than admitting they got blown out both games.
