It reeks of gmgm's rebuild. Try to draft well and get some placeholder journemen for cheap until the young guys are ready. 3-5 year plan with a surprise NFC East title early on.

Except that's a terrible method for building a football team. There are too many players to draft and no developmental system to help them. The NFL is a win-now business. The players enter near their primes already, and building for the future does not work.
