I've proposed a "football move" being equivalent to a player's third foot being down after the catch. First two establish the catch, the next one establishes a football move.

To which I'd ask why then is the football move even necessary in the definition, especially when 2 feet down is enough for possession on the sidelines or in the endzone? The rules are a mess.

It seemed to be pointing that way when Kendrick Golston was named the starting NT. Love me some Golston, as a reserve, but starting NT? Not ideal.

Not giving up on Doctson, but D-line should of been addressed early in this past draft.

I agree they need to objectively establish what a catch is rather than "*shrug* whatever the ref thinks is a football move"

Not an issue enough to try to address it until the 5th round. Doctson, haven't seen him to have an opinion, but Cravens looks legit. But the 3rd round CB is inactive and the 5th round D-lineman was cut. Significant black mark against McClou.

Mainly castoffs, though, outside of Paea and even he never seemed to have the confidence of anyone for whatever reason. Reyes isn't even active and Hood isn't much. The fifth rounder got cut. It's a mess and that should be no surprise.

If the offense isn't scoring and forcing teams to throw they're probably not going to have much success. It goes for most teams that they're better with a lead but it probably goes for them more than anyone.
