Saunders and Pillar have played all three over their careers, though with Saunders he is more of a prototypical corner OFer (he played LF early on with Mariners, played RF more often last couple of seasons). Pompey is definitely a natural CF though and profiles better there.

Pretty sure Saunders played mostly RF in Seattle.

Maybe they want a better look at Pillar in CF for when Bautista comes back? All I can come up with.
