AA finally acquired a baseball player a dirt bag player a gamer. Too many time he was after toolsy guys who weren't good at baseball but good athletes. With the Travis deal he acquired a who while not a five tool guy just a good ball player.

Will give AA credit for seeing the errors of his ways.

EE and Donaldson are obligated to hit a HR today as well, can't let this rookie guy without power to lead the team in homeruns again.

drafting sure, because in high school, basically everyone is pretty raw.

He got Stroman, he got Donaldson, these guys are not just all tools no toolbox guys, Travis is hardly the first.

And yet people rip on him every game.

because a lot of people still wrongly conclude that since "the point of the game is to win" that wins and losses attributed to pitchers must be a meaningful representation of the pitcher's value/ability, totally missing the fact that a full half of the equation responsible for getting a a win (offence) is conducted when the pitcher isn't even on the field.

Stop being silly Nem. I'll take my pitcher who gives up 10 runs in an 11-10 win every day over a guy who loses 1-0. At least the guy who won knows how to pitch to the score, and while he gave up more runs he knows how to get the other team out to get the W when it matters.
