[Boom Boom Apathy]

I think most feel that if the Canes stay really healthy and all goes well, they are a bubble team and could get in (ie..not that far off from being a playoff team). The problem I see is that the odds of them being healthy and all going well is slim which is why I think they are further away than some. Until they upgrade the talent and depth, that will continue to be an issue.

That said, in order to offset any "off years" or injuries, the defense HAS to be upgraded or I'd have a hard time even putting them in the bubble category.
