I'm happy that Sather is holding firm on what he wants for Talbot. He definitely wants a 1st rounder or a 2nd and an NHL ready prospect. I don't think that the Rangers were the ones to leak that last bit of info to Dreger though...

$71.4m is a nice number. Should provide Slats and co. with a little more wiggle room. Maybe we only have to trade Klein and can keep Hagelin after all :dunno:

for a team that can't score or even create solid scoring chances in the playoffs for the most part to even consider 2nds in this years draft is incompetence at best.

with an asset like cambot and more than a few teams drooling, you have to turn him into a roster player. period.

slats will be patient as he holds the cards. time is on his side. teams desire a young #1 net minder. they just aren't out there like cam is and a team like edmonton has the assets to make this deal happen. his performance was noted by the entire league. he auditioned and he hit it out of the park. good for him and for us. cams time is now and slats needs to cash. now.

slats can parlay all this mojo into a player to help us NEXT SEASON. not draft picks in the 2nd round.

theres a scoring winger who can manage top 6 minutes and pp time out there. go get him.

no marincin please. just no marincin.

Arizona is ~$18m from the cap floor.

Glass gets a signing bonus on July 1. Trade him on July 2. He's due to be paid $2.45m over the next two years (after the bonus on 7/1) while providing a cap hit of $2.9m

Get it done, Slats

Thank you for posting this.
There's a big hole on RW that needs to be filled. Sather knows it won't get filled via draft picks.
