1) Cowick is going to be 24 when this camp starts... is there an age limit to these things? Same for Cannone, dude will be 27 years old in September. No way he's at this thing. In fact, Boro might not be there either, but I'm adding him to my camp roster just in case.

2) Isn't Peltz's contract with the Sens mercifully over? I thought this past year was the last on his contract (though I could be wrong). There can't be any way we re-sign this kid, is there? Is Daddy Warbucks going to buy him another contract?

Really doubt Wikstrand would be there. That team looks amazing, though.

Yes, I think you're right. The object isn't to put together the best team possible, but to compare players, sometimes give a guy a last chance before they give up on him. All the guys coming out of junior should be there, though. But guys like Hoffman or Stone probably wouldn't be there, they don't need to be assessed as rookies, they will just have to fight for a job in the preseason.

I wouldn't be shocked to see Pageau there. I want him to be on the big club next year and pick up right where he left off, but there are no guarantee's. Zack Smith was a big part of the development camp and rookie camps even after he had played meaningful nhl games. It will be interesting to see who separates themselves from the pack at camp. I hope Stone has a big offseason... He's the type of player Ottawa needs, a big body that can generate offense consistently.
