All I hope is that Cammy and Stempniak are healthy at the deadline and are at a good point per game pace. Add Butler to that list too.

Did he not mesh well with Duch or Stastny? Signing that $4 mill contract I assume he was playing top 6 RW for most of last season

He mostly played with Stastny until he was demoted to the 3rd and 4th lines during points of the season. He looked slow all year and wasn't playing to his strength, which is to crash the net and get those greasy goals.

I think his confidence was shot and his mind was elsewhere at most times during the season.

Great. Jeez, Feaster sure knows how to pick 'em.

Because we had such great things to say about Tanguay and Sarich on their way out...;)

We're not going to be able to trade guys with flaws for guys with no flaws. Besides, isn't this a classic case of trading for guys when their value is low? Kind of seems like the best case scenario from that perspective.

It was the timing of the trade that upsets me, not to hate on Jones too much. Right before free agency, Feaster downgrades up front. While selling high/buying low is great management. Don't do it when there's no market for buyers.

Tanguay > Jones
O'Brien > Sarich

This is really a trade though that could spark both Tanguay and Jones and it will be a win win for both teams.
