Looking like Brian Roberts will be a Yankee....

Between him, Ellsbury, an aging Beltran, and the other older guys they have some of which are coming off injury filled seasons....could be ugly injury wise

:rolleyes::wally::whaaa?:

Going to be a long season. Not even going to go to a game unless it is free or dirt cheap and I'm talking less than $10.

I'm not worried about it. The Yankees, surprisingly, have a serviceable enough farm system to survive. Hell, look at last year.

Gardner (LF)
Ellsbury (CF)
Beltran (RF)
Teix (1B)
McCann (C)
Soriano (DH)
Rodriguez (3B)
Jeter (SS)
Roberts (2B)

Johnson
Reynolds (they'll re-sign him)
Ryan
Nunez
Ichiro
Zoilo
Vernon Wells
Cervelli
Romine
CoJo

That's solid any way you look at it. They have the bodies to fill in the disabled list if needed.

I still think they should move Gardner. But I'm fine if they don't I guess.

Thornton is absolutely awful at this stage in his career. Hes been past his prime for about 3 years. Trust me, I watched him for about 7 years with the Sox and hes no where near what he used to be. You don't want him anywhere near a late game situation.
