The quotes like that are usually referring to Jordan. As mentioned above, Jared didn't even lead his team in scoring last year. I believe he finished 3rd or 4th.

I remember reading fairly recently that Jared isn't even close to being as good as his brothers. I remember checking stats for his team earlier this year and he was well down the list.

I think the hype for him is all based on that Hockey News article from a few years back.
