The Minnesota Wild select Michal Sersen, D from Rimouski of the QMJHL.

I was torn on taking one of the US High School Defensemen, but don't want that kind of a project this early.

The Wild Picks:

1. Drew Stafford, LW
2. Travis Zajac, C
3. John Lammers, LW
3. Jordan Smith, D
3. Justin Peters, G
4. Frederik Cabana, RW
4. Aleksis Ahlqvist, G
4. Michal Sersen, D

Not bad for 4 rounds, I would be happy with this? So now that I am done, what do you all think as far as the Wild's picks?

I think Lammers was a total waste of a pick. He quit on his team. That is inexcusable and I wouldn't touch that kid with a 10 ft pole.

Other than that, good job.

Now see, that is why I am not drafting for a real team, I hadn't heard about that.

Anyone want to trade for LAmmers? :banghead:

this is something i definately want to hear from everyone is what they thought of each team's picks and how well or bad some teams did

BTW -- i think you did an awesome job for the Wild :yo:

and I think that the Blackhawks would be pretty happy if the draft went this way for them

I still debate whether I should have taken Linsin in wheeler's spot when he was available, but overall I think that Pittsburgh would be happy with this draft:

Our final picks are three centers, and two wings, both of which happen to be positions of great need for the Pens, but were not taken for that reason, things just fell that way:

Yevgeny Malkin (C)
Blake Wheeler (C)
Adam Pineault (W)
Tim Brent (C)
Dane Byers (LW)
