Spaling has been fine considering. It's basically the difference between a solid 3rd liner and a normal 4th liner. If he's only used on the 4th line or maybe a few shifts here or there on a higher line, then that where he needs to be.

Its definitely nice having a 4th liner that can light the lamp now and again as well.

He just brings nothing to the table. There's literally nothing he does well. At least Zubrus can use his size to protect the puck and Karlsson will finish around the net while not hurting you defensively. Spaling's useless.
