Alas, Gio's not going anywhere. This is his retirement contract, and he's got an NMC. tbh, I'd have no problem with Gionta if he were skating ~15-16 minutes a game. But this 20+ minute stuff is ridiculous. They guy just doesn't have that much left in the tank.

Agree. He's the captain, he'll stay the captain. He's here another season. He's not going anywhere. Just give him 15 mins a game at the most.
