I don't think so or it might have been mentioned in the news.Crosbyfan said:Not sure but I think it might be 6.
It seems to me he holds the record for scoring at WJC's but maybe he holds this one too.VladNYC said:Might be Forsberg

Crosbyfan said:So Forsberg was on Swedens 1992 Gold medal team?
Riddarn said:Yeah. He scored 4 goals and 2 assists in that tournament. Not super-productive but he the goals he scored were pretty clutch.
Well, if it was,it probably won't be after today.Sampe said:Olli Jokinen scored 4 goals and 2 assists in 7 games back in 1997.
I'm very, very certain however that 6 points ain't the record.
Ola said:Though what should be noted is that the format of the tournament have changed allot over the years. Before there where often only 8 teams in the A pool, and one of them wheren't slovakia. So there where 8 good teams and only two "bad". Often Germany and Switzerland. So each good team would only play a bad team once. I think that where the case for example when Forsberg scored his 6 points. Forsberg also have the record in the WJC, that time it where the other way around, he scored like 10 points against Japan.

Youngest to play for Canada at World Championship:
1. 1993, 1st game 4/19/93 vs SUI, Paul Kariya (Oct. 16, 1974 - 18y, 6m, 3d)
Tournament totals: 8gp, 2g-7a = 9 pts, 0 pim
svetovy poharu said:You are absolutely correct, my apologies for the faulty math calculations. Sidney was born Aug. 7, 1987, so that would make him the 4th youngest (18y, 9m, 28d) ever to play for Team Canada.
Sorry for the mistake.
