Yep. Rosenthal goes on and says that Wainwright told him the decided to give Jeter a couple "right down the pipe", then laughingly said he would've reconsidered if he knew Jeter would hit a double. Then like 5 minutes later Erin Andrews has Wainwright in the dugout with a TV piping the broadcast next to them and he's going on about how he wouldn't insult the integrity of the game by not competing and how he wouldn't intentionally try to give up hits to anyone.

It was funny listening to him trying to squirm out of his first comments because he heard them on TV and realized that it sounded ridiculous given that "the game matters."
