Potentially a secondary assist but I think the rebound might have gone off of Galchenyuk's skate instead and nullified his secondary. Rebound came out to him in the slot and he ended up taking it back to the point and sending a D to D pass. D takes shot and Nikishin puts in the rebound

Good point, I hadn’t even thought of that. Gusev signed with Vegas on April 14 of 2019, right in the middle of their playoff series against San Jose.

But I think Goose's KHL contract was over. He stayed in the NHL the following year with us.

Gritsyuk is still under contract in the KHL through next year. I'm not sure how that all works.

Their season ends first. It’s not like Gusev didn’t play the 18-19 season in the KHL. His contract went through that season and signed with Vegas when it was done. It’s no different than this.
