You're acting like it was an impossible save. He let in 5 goals when they fought back from 4 1 down. You need to come in big for your team when they battle so hard for you.

Luckily rangers got zero shots in ot.

No I’m not. I’m simply saying that just because it was the first shot of the period doesn’t mean it should be stopped 100% of the time. Or that all shots blocker side should be stopped 100% of the time. Yeah he needed a big save there. I’ve said it many times in this thread. But was it an easy save because it was the first shot or because it was blocker side? No it wasn’t.

I'm not saying first shot always has to be saved or every stick side needs to be saved.

It's an composite of items for this guy. They battle back, he does nothing for 5 minutes he needs to come up big - clear shot stick side etc he let's that in. It's super frustrating.

9 out of 10 times this team bails. Luckily something different happened tonight.

Anyways we need to solve the goaltending issue.
