Point has raised my expectations considerably with his play so far. I was about 50/50 in favor of putting him on the third line or as a second line winger going into the offseason, but he's easily been our best center and puck possession player so far, at least from the eye test. A big chunk of our forecheck success has come from Point.

Speaking of angry, Little angry with Cally's ice-time. Dude is trying to get on the score-sheet. But whatever, team is doing well, right?

I'm okay with the ice time because given how he plays, he's gonna get himself hurt again. We're not over playing him and that's the biggest factor. He's also been in roles in which he can succeed every time he is on the ice. Utilization-wise he's arguably been Cooper's biggest success. I think everyone here wishes he could contribute more so he could be worth every penny he makes but if we get 82 games of Callahan playing at this level then we can stamp our ticket to the playoffs.

I have to say I've honestly forgotten how good he is defensively. He's fast on his way to re-establishing himself to a top player in the league in terms of defensive forward.
