Another Wild season comes to an end. Will be interesting to see what happens in the offseason. New coach, trades, sign any free agents. I don't think this current team has enough speed, size and scoring to compete against the better teams of this league. And also don't have a lot of confidence in Yeo and the system he tries to play.

It's not like anyone really expected them to go deep this year. This was about what should have been expected, and they achieved that. I wish it hadn't been so lackluster though.

This is what I kept telling myself this season both when the team got hot, to keep myself from getting too carried away. And when we went ice cold at the end of the season to avoid heading to the nearest high window ledge. Next season we should be justified in having higher expectations for the Wild. This seasons playoff run was just gravy. And should help management access the teams needs and issues.
