Backs was great early when the team came out of the gates a bit flat...then when Backs needed help, Suter and Brodin were awesome at clearing the puck out of the crease!

Solid hard nosed win!

Was good to see Burnsie again, but he burns himself out quick at forward. At defense he can pace his energy output more and thus is a more dangerous player able to make plays all game long. They're doing the league a favor by burning him out too quickly in games.

Even Burnsie was having some fun during the game. They showed his pic of when he looked like Chewbacca from early this season and compared it to him on the bench side by side and he was laughing a lot.

Good win from the team although they didn't play their best game. Bad ice maybe, lots of guys falling down. Heatley with the close call again, too. Thought Falk and Stoner were beyond brutal. Loved Clutter's game tonight. Burns was fantastic as a forward I thought. Thought the PP was awful for the most part, again with standing still and keeping the puck to the outside, but what can you do. Spurgeon's shot was great. That's all I got. Five wins!
