One was taken three drafts ago (as of June) and has already been proven to be effective at the NHL level and the other hasn't even been drafted yet.

To correctly answer the OP's question, I guess it would be this:

At their respective drafts (compared to the field):

Zadina >> Serge

Currently:

Zadina << Serge

Future:

*????><????




*Being a discussion of W vs D, Zadina will have to be pretty impressive to overcome Serge

At the time of the draft, Zadina is much, much higher ranked.

Always seems that the winger heavy drafts never end up strong. Ill say Sergy.

I'm not a huge Zadina fan either, but to be fair, this is a defense heavy draft and Zadina still ended up the projected third overall.
