Yeah without any details, looks like they're just buying time. Doubt they waive him as he'd likely get claimed and that's a pretty bad way to spend a 4th round pick. They'll use their cap skills to keep him in the fold until he is needed.

Like to see him get a chance. Thought he was driving the net well and made some headway and won some battles despite his linemates.
