I have about $19M but no idea what to spend it on.

$19M is the equivalent of 76 4th round picks. I’d start there.

I for one am a proponent of shorter deals. I do not think we are going to get a JOSI style 7 year deal on anyone. Kids make money now when they are supposed to. I would sign our top players to 4 year deals max. 2-3-4 year deals keep players on their toes, and keep them trying hard. IF they play well and earn more salary in the future... ill pay them THEN. I do not want to pay anyone on potential. I want to pay them on what they have done, and I'm ok if our stars make more in their final deal that way.

Specific numbers for names are not so important to me. But Bert//Vrana starting with a 4 sounds good.

Name me one reason why either Bertuzzi or Vrana would sign for 2x4? Both only have 1 year left so 2 years eats only 1 UFA year so both would command more then $4M per. Probably closer to 5M per at the very least. And if you're giving Hronek 4 years he probably gets closer to $5.5 million not $4.7 million. Other then that your signings look good.

Add Panik, and Djoos probably gets re-signed as an insurance policy for DDK.

I think Stevie adds an UFA LHD to help Seider, but that's about it. I'm not gonna debate contract amounts, that hasn't been my strong suit anyways.
