I know we’ve got plenty of threads on the upcoming draft but I think this one is different.

This is a list / ranking of who you want for our #6 pick. Not skills or projection or who we think the brass selects. Who do you want from most to 6th?

Mine...

1. Power
2. Hughes
3. Berniers
4. Eklund
5. Wallstedt
6. Edvinsson

(For amusement I’ll likely tally the lists)

1. Beniers
2. Clarke
3. Power
gap
4. Hughes
5. Edvinsson
6. Eklund I guess, him, guenther and Johnson are pretty even for me.

I think my top 3 will be top line players and really good in their own ways so they won’t be comparable to each other. I’m hoping Hughes or Edvinsson fall to us at 6.

Will be interesting to see if anybody guess correct. Last year I did correct top 6 , but this year is so different. I think Ducks need to improve forward , get Eklund, but it could be Mctavish. NJ have to go with Hughes and Jackets need to get defenseman and Clark probably the best out of this draft. I see as getting McTavish, he progress big this year, just like Seider was 2 years ago

I can see something like that happen.

Power - Buffalo
Beniers - Seattle
Eklund - Anaheim
Guenther - NJ
McTavish - Columbus
Edvinsson - Detroit (I think the Frolunda connection is pretty strong here.)

Hughes - SJ
Johnson - LA
Wallstedt - Vancouver (Tomas Gradin is Vancouver's equivalent of Hakan Andersson. If he likes Wallstedt then I could see VAN picking him up.)

For sure

I see Hughes to NJ as a pretty easy call though. They have gone forward heavy late at top of draft and the brither connection is a strong pull in hopes both will wanna stick around for careers.

I hope we dont draft Edvinsson personally as I dont see him as overly dynamic but do know enough to trust SY and co.
