As for Galchenyuk he would be a good choice, but I do agree there are better/more deserving/more experienced guys out there. Though, since Galchy likely is the American's top future star, he could be in as a 13th forward for the experience. He did lead the Americans to a WJC Gold last year.

If that's the case, why not take Trouba who was the Americans best player? Gibson, Trouba, and Gaudreau were better than Galchenyuk.

This might be my view as a Canadian and Leafs fan...but doesn't it make the most sense to keep Kessel and JVR together? They have insane chemistry.
