I believe Pagnotta had a tweet earlier (I don’t know how to embed) mentioned Yandle with the Bruins showing interest.

While I’m not necessarily in love with the idea, as a third pairing powerplay specialist the Bruins could do way worse. Depends on cost.
Yandle was dog shit on the pp last year. They replaced him with Ekblad and then Forsling.

Awesome notes. Thank you. Would love to have you add Schmidt and possibly Ekholm for a true dreamer but I won’t hold my breath as I understand the effort that must take.

I haven't studied Ekholm or Schmidt yet, but another guy I like and have been watching is Derek Forbort. He's big, rangy and he plays with an edge. He's not Carlo mobile (for a big guy) but he can skate. He's also a keep it simple type on breakouts. He kills penalties, plays against top lines and blocks a TON of shots. He averages about 21 minutes a night and 60% Dzone starts. 29 years old.

If you liked Oleksiak then Forbort is a good plan B.
