The playoff teams aren't fully decided, but I figured why not. I'm going to just lump them into categories (that I'm going to make up as I go along) describing how I'd feel if they won the cup.

Obviously, the Jets but I dont expect them to win it. My second choice from the West will be Nashville.

From the East really anybody but Pittsburgh. I will cheer for whichever of Toronto (love hate relationship) and Boston gets out of the first round. I also like Columbus.

How the hell do you not have the Winnipeg Jets in the would prefer a nuclear apocalypse section? f*** the Winnipeg Jets! I got the Sharks as the NHL team I want to see win the cup the most.

Devils, Panthers, Preds for me, in that order. On the other side of my list there's ducks, kings, bruins and Blake Wheeler.

In the West; Kings*. In the East: Flyers. I can get behind the Bruins, Knights, Preds,Devils, Jets. I would root against the Caps, Sharks, and Pens. That is probably ranked order.

*Yes, I'm likely the only Coyotes fan, who is also a Kings fan.

Yeah. The older the team, the more deserved. I think we should have a couple of years now where only older teams without the cup should be allowed to get it. .

So, St. Louis is the obvious choice, with extra respect for CAPS (and their flightless-bird - troubles) in the mix. Panthers could be fun (If they make it at all. I noticed they are really hurting from their loss to Toronto yesterday. That was very bad for their play-off possibilities.)

Preds as you say, they've been around for a while and earned extra credit for their deep run last year. Extra fun to see how horrified the Montreal-ians gets when they see PK Subban rules the world.

Not rooting for Vegas beyond first round. This is getting far to easy for them. They get so spoiled. They can knock out the Kings or something in the first round though, would be OK with that.

For me it's also a lean towards teams that haven't won the cup before. I also wanna root for Ovie to get his cup, so I can't complain about that. Teams that have won recently can hit the links early haha. I wanna root for Nashville but man they just HAVE to have Turris blegh. However, I'll still root for them in general.

I'm torn on the Knights. I wanna wish them success but I also have a hard time seeing them win a cup in their first year haha. So maybe just some playoff success this time but not all the way. Depends on their matchup, I guess!
