LA certainly didn't, with their first two picks going to D-Men whose stock has done nothing but take a big fat plunge since last year.

Lots of totally bizarre picks. Slava Trukhno lasts to round 4? He's recognized as a potential late first rounder. Ozzy Bartulis to round 7?

Anikeenko is drafted twice...

It's kind of hard to gather exactly what happened the way you have that listed, Edmonton seemed to have a pretty good draft though.

edit: Buffalo had a strong draft, not sure why Chicago had so few picks but it's first two seem solid relative to their position.

Even without Crosby ... Syvret, Stastny and Hensick look like good picks for Colorado. And with Crosby it looks awesome.

hensick was a steal comming from a UofM watcher and fan. I see comrie in him completely. Shifty, creative, amazing hands, 2nd line center potential

* What are the details of the COL-VAN trade (Crosby) ?

* Bourret is too high, Johnson is too low-- With the #3 pick Buffalo would be smart to pick JJ.

* Pittsburgh won't take another goalie in the first round

* Edmonton has two good goalie prospects, why would they take Levasseur?

* Would Brule play for the Canucks? I heard some rumors about him being not too keen on staying in Vancouver.

thanks

Thanks for the replies and for the little mistakes that we didnt see while doing it. Its not a draft with the NHL roster, its a fantasy hockey league who runs since 6 years so Pitts doesnt have Fleury and Anaheim doesnt have Smid. Our Crosby trade was;
To Colorado; 1er van 2005
To Vancouver; Ladislav Nagy, Ales Hemsky, Andrei Markov, Bobby Holik, Manny Fernandez, 6eme 2005, 2eme 2006, 1er 2007 et 25M$

Reminds me a lot of an old trade... lets see..... Quebec - Phylli!!!!??? :biglaugh:

I think that the 3rd GM was drunk! How can you pick Bourret ahead of Johnson, Brule, Kopitar and Ryan!!!??

Boston started off okay but made a huge mistake with Ryan Wilson with the 3rd pick. I would have taken Matt Niskanen or Paul Stastny with that pick. Colorado is clearly the winner.
