I like the home & home games like this - NHL should do more of these.

Toronto is still chasing Florida for home ice in their 1st round matchup, as they're 3 points back with a game in hand and a head-to-head matchup with the Panthers on Tuesday. Should be the most interesting matchup of the 1st round, unless Edmonton-Vegas happens.

Oh and Michigan plays BC at 8:30 tonight.

There has been some talk about the NHL scheduling multiple games in a row against the same team but not a home and home.

The idea is that multiple games in a row may yield some more passion and engagement in the latter games and less travel will save money and be easier on the players.

I don’t think they will do this but apparently it’s liked enough that it came up at a Board of Governor meeting as one of the wild ideas.

Just rework this playoff seeding bullshit and figure out how to stop the leaving the zone in OT and I'll be happy.
