There are a lot of good teams at the highest level of hockey. Lmfao.
There really aren’t though. Theres about 6 or 7 really good teams and a few really bad teams. Most of the league falls into the average or mediocre middle every year.

We just need to be a little better than some of those average teams to make the playoffs. But we’ve thrown so many points away already that’s unlikely to happen now.

This season really looks like a lot of teams beating up on a few and Seattle is one. Also, as an above post points out, 3 expansion teams have done worse.

I think it's going to be around 55 - 60 points.

They'll get a couple of lucky bounces(at some point we're due), win about 25 games and still finish in the bottom five.

BTW: 42 points would've put us dead last in league during every 82 game season for at least the last 20 years or so..
I doubt it's going to be that bad.

Who doesn't, but no.. I don't think we have the luck to win the lottery, even from the bottom spot. My methods are my own and they involve the Leafs winning the cup every year.

I agree that a Seattle wintersports team winning the lottery's not really a Seattle thing(Sonics never had the #1 pick in their 41 year history and only drafted #2 twice --> Payton + Durant)

The bolded part, though....
