Your Favorite NHL team goes 30-0-52 in a given season.........how would you feel?

Let's pretend that in a hypothetical scenario, your favorite NHL team goes 30-0-52 in a given regular season. Of those 52 overtime losses, 26 of those were before the shoot-out. The other 26 were in the shoot-out.

As far as victories go, 26 of those victories were in overtime, before the shoot-out. The other 4 wins came during the regular season in blow out victories (2 blowout victories against bottom feeders, and two blow out victories against elite teams).

Of those 30 wins and 52 losses, all victories and defeats were extremely even dispersed in terms of wins/losses to Eastern teams, Western teams, elite teams, sub-par .500 teams, etc., etc. In other words, the wins/losses aren't 'inflated' in any way due a weak division/conference, feasting on weaker teams, etc.

Based on all of the information given above, how would you feel about your team heading into the playoffs?

-Would you be nervous due to the fact that your team had technically lost 22 more games than they have won?

-Would you be excited that with 112 points, your team would likely be one of the top teams in the league and would have home ice advantage?

-How do you think the media in your city would feel about the team's overall performance? What would the media's attitude towards the team be? What about the fans?

An extension to this question:

Lets say your team (30-0-52) makes the Stanley Cup Final and is going up against a team that finished (56-26-0) during the regular season.

Would you feel more positive about the match-up, or more negative?

Why?
