I love this scenario because it screws CBJ out of a potential 1D. ( yea I know they could take werenski but I think he's a tier below NH/IP. Beauvillier I like a lot and is exactly what this team needs more of up front- speed and skill


Dream scenario B.

3. ARZ- hanifin/strome
4. TOR- hanifin/ strome

This is my ultimate scenario but also that absolute least likely to happen. Even if Marner slips at 5 it's hard to picture NJ passing on him.

There is a lot of talent all the way through the draft. I think these guys could all be available at these spots and I've seen good things about all of them. Montembault is more of a project but Tomek should be a safer option and a good backup plan for Stolarz. Defensively you get Provorov who is a stud, Bear who has shown that he is a capable defenseman that just needs work, and Marino who is one of the better under the radar guys due to playing in a lesser league. Then on offense you restock the system. Boeser and Forsbacka-Karlsson are both very good players who should definitely be top 9 NHL forwards one day, Pavlychev and Lööke who both have been ranked higher in some mock drafts but lower in others so they may drop considering how unrealistic mock drafts are. And then Marody who has been pretty solid in the USHL. Those are the guys I would like at each pick but there are a lot of really good players throughout the draft.
