Those 3 goalies are ridiculous! Even scarier because all 3 might not make the best on best 2022 roster.

That D core is better than the Czech 2022 pro Olympic core.

I have some other names from Europe, a wider circle:
D: Moravčík, Jordán, Mašín, Mozík, Krejčík, Sklenička, Musil, Jeřábek .. Košťálek?
F: Špaček, Stránský, Horák, Řepík, Tomášek, Sobotka, Zohorna, Zohorna, Jaškin, Radil, Hyka, Sedlák, Kovář, Šťastný, Lenc..Birner? The only two certainties in my opinion are Jaškin and Kovář, Červenka perhaps not :)) and Blumel, not yet in my opinion.
NHL players are taxed by name, I don't know if Zadina is already a top 6 player (not suitable for another role), Faksa is probably out of shape. Like this .. :)

Cervenka was top 5 in NLA.. Kovar was 1. Some veteran leadership. I'm fine if he doesn't make it. I wasn't a fan of him a decade ago but now am a big fan. Go figure.

Blumel is a longshot but he plays PP and PK and is a nice prospect. Youth is good too.

I thought about Sobotka after. I'd be very happy to seem him there. FTR.. I'd be fine with Plekanec and Jagr on the 4th line and 2nd PP!

Before the NHL talk, I was quite excited for an all Euro World Championships.

Červenka is a player I don't trust anymore after all these years, he won't be better .. In the international field he was mostly average .. I thought Kovář is lock, just like Jaškin :)

Georgiyev is actually really mediocre. He’s become the Rangers third goalie behind Keith Kinkaid. Kinkaid is not good. He’s still better than Georgiyev.

As an Oiler fan.. I really wanted us to trade for Georgiev. Shame he's fallen off... I'm a fan. In general, the Russian goalies are just ridiculously good right now!

OEL -,John Klingberg ,Hampus Lindholm would take a spot but i doubt any of the others would do.
Let's assume we take our NHLer's for the 2022 pro on pro

Hronek, Gudas, Simek, Kempny (back from a year off due to injury), Zboril and Hajek.

Hronek is the only one I see cracking that Swede roster posted above and I don't think he comes close to making the 2022 Swede NHL Olympic Team. I say this as an absolute huge Hronek fan and feel he is very underrated because he plays in Detroit. When detroit gets good, people will notice Hronek more.

FTR.. I think Larrson and Klefbom (also back from a year off due to injury) would get spots ahead of the above except for Gudas and Hronek.

I could see nhl players like jokiharju, Kakko, Lankinen, kahkonen, Valimaki, Mikkola, Lehtonen, Kupari, Kuokkanen, Ruotsilainen, hakanpaa joining the finland team if they miss playoffs. Some are bubble right now.

Hintz will definitely not join. He s obviously nursing something. heiskenen risto Lindell laine granlund haula I don't see joining and most the rest are playoffs. A few of the above would make for a very interesting tournament. I d be hoping for a goalie and a few good defenders. Kuokkanen, Kakko and Ruotsilanen would be really good adds for the forwards too.

I agree with the top-9 personnel, but the lines should look more like so:

Rakell - Zibanejad - Bratt
Olofsson - E.Lindholm - Silfverberg
Kempe - Backlund - Höglander

You could argue about Bratt on the top line, but I think he would fit in really well there. The centers are not up to debate for me. Zbad's back to normal after his slow start(probably COVID-related), Lindholm is Calgary's 1C and I think Flames fans would say best player. Kempe's not a center.

Also, EK65 at D so he can show if he really belongs still, which would help olympics(if it isn't boycotted).

That defense would be eaten alive, not a single defensive defenseman.
Full Liiga team is interesting idea though, theres couple players in SHL that i would like to have but let's try full liiga team.
Jere Innala - Anton Lundell - Markus Nurmi
Aleksi Saarela - Eemeli Suomi - Kasper Björkqvist
Ahti Oksanen - Hannes Björninen - Lauri Pajuniemi
Jere Sallinen - Peter Tiivola - Jukka Peltola
Kristian Kuusela, Valtteri Puustinen

Lasse Lappalainen - Vili Saarijärvi
Mikael Seppälä - Valtteri Kemiläinen
Mikko Niemelä - Elmeri Eronen
Jarkko Parikka - Alex Rindell

No NHL players represent Finland in Riga. Unless Filppula wants to try win something before he retires.

I think you have the right idea. The players you mentioned who you could see playing are mostly young guys who could make the Olympic squad next year, but they need to impress Jalonen. Maybe Kupari is the only one I doubt is going to be on the roster because AHL players rarely make it. He could be an interesting player though.

Hakanpää might also choose to sit this one out because he doesn't have contract for next season and now that he has finally made the NHL, I don't think he wants to take a chance and possibly injure himself when he already has a gold medal. Also, I think Jalonen will pick him for Olympic roster. Same thing with Lehtonen.

Looks like Dallas is going to miss the playoffs and Hintz should go and get his injury fixed. Lindell, Heiskanen, Ristolainen are on the Olympic roster for sure. Nashville is in the playoff spot right now so Granlund and Haula could be unavailable and they don't have contracts for next season. Laine needs to figure out what is his problem in the offseason and get a need contract. No time for WC.

It would be cool if some players from the 2019 gold team came to play like Kakko, Jokiharju, Mikkola and Lankinen. They should be motivated to show that they belong to the Olympic roster. Then add guys like Kuokkanen, Välimäki and Ruotsalainen who are hungry and want to play. It's going to be interesting to see, what kind of rosters countries are able to put together this year.

Regarding Finnish players I can see upcoming Worlds being important show-up for those who battle for the last spots in the Olympics assuming NHL players are in.

I mean players like Kuokkanen.

Czechs seem pretty certain they won't get much NHL help... they have said Zadina and Hronek are likely but not guaranteed. Jaskin sounds like he might be out (which would suck as he's exactly the guy I want in a Eurocentric World's) and Kovar said he wants to play (the other guy I really want).

I'd say our most important player by a mile would be Hronek.

Still hoping for Rittich to go over but I think he's UFA and I'll say I think it's unlikely.

With Luongo being named Canada GM for IIHF WC in Latvia, it's safe to assume NHL players will play. There aren't any restrictions stopping NHL players for playing in 2021 IIHF WC, right?
