If we are awarding the worst goaltender of the previous season award, who would win it? Samsonov, Korpisalo, Gibson? Someone else?

Same criteria as the Vezina in the sense that you wouldn't give it to someone with less than 20 starts.

I think I would give it to Georgiev based on games played and the team he is playing behind

Vanecek relative to expectations IMO.

Raants is a darkhorse here, but guy was just flat out broken, all the injuries throughout the year came to a head and this was the result.

Vanacek starting in the 2023 playoffs became the worst goalie in the league after being a pretty good regular season goalie. Then he became a bad regular season goalie too.

I'll nominate my own guy, Gustavsson.

Went from a .931 save % to a .899 and a 31.3 GSAA to a -5. If he even could've just middled it, Minnesota is probably safely in the playoffs.

Just give it to the New Jersey Devils as a whole. Schmid and Daws (at least after he started getting run into the ground) were just as bad.

only 20 starts so probably shouldn't win over someone with like twice that many but Antti Raanta has some mind bogglingly bad stats considering he also did it while playing for Carolina
.872 SVP with a GAA under 3 is something special.
