Ok, so, for the 6th year, I made my mock draft for the 1st round. The original version is about 4000 words, but it's in French, so here is a condensed version for you English readers.

1-Edmonton - Nail Yakupov - Either they pick him or they trade the pick. He is going number 1.
2-Columbus - Filip Forsberg - Trading Nash means an opening for a new franchise winger.
3-Montreal - Mikhail Grigorenko - It's him or Galchenyuk, but I like his ceiling better.
4-NY Islanders - Ryan Murray - Will they finally draft a D this high? I hope so.
5-Toronto - Alex Galchenyuk - This should make Leafs fans happy.
6-Anaheim - Mathew Dumba - BPA in my opinion, then again, I'm quite high on him.
7-Minnesota - Jacob Trouba - Nice fit here, don't see them taking Teravainen.
8-Carolina - Teuvo Teravainen - They hope they draft a second Jeff Skinner here.
9-Winnipeg - Griffin Reinhart - They need D, and he is quite good at what he does.
10-Tampa - Morgan Rielly - A Hedman-Rielly duo is just too good to envision.
11-Washington - Radek Faksa - Really fits the new Capitals
12-Buffalo - Brendan Gaunce - Big center is something they don't really have.
13-Dallas - Olli Maatta - Big time riser and Stars kinda love Scandinavians
14-Calgary - Cody Ceci - I will get flamed for not putting Collberg, but they can't skip Ceci at 14.
15-Ottawa - Hampus Lindholm - They love their Swedes and he has huge upside.
16-Washington - Slater Koekkoek - After Faksa, they get a d-man, which I am quite high on.
17-San Jose - Sebastian Collberg - They go BPA here, and quite easy pick too.
18-Chicago - Ludvig Bystrom - They hope they get their own Erik Karlsson in Bystrom.
19-Tampa Bay - Andrei Vasilevski - Him or Subban, but I think he is the best goalie since 2008 (Markstrom).
20-Philadelphia - Matt Finn - Do-it-all d-man is a good fit, and almost BPA.
21-Buffalo - Nicholas Kerdiles - Big-time riser and he is a Buffalo type of player, i think.
22-Pittsburgh - Zemgus Girgensons - No real reason for him falling, but Pittsburgh gladly snags him
23-Florida - Derrick Pouliot - Not a fan of him, but I can't see him falling much further
24-Boston - Tom Wilson - Ok, seems like an easy guess, but with all the better D's gone, I think they take him
25-St.Louis - Pontus Aberg - Once again, not a fan of him, but I'd be surprised if he falls this far.
26-Vancouver - Dalton Thrower - I really like him and local to boot.
27-Phoenix - Tomas Hertl - BPA, especially since they don't really need any D-man.
28-New York Rangers - Henrik Samuelsson - May be a reach, but I liked what I saw from him
29-New Jersey Devils - Malcolm Subban - Really think they kept their pick for a goalie
30-Los Angeles - Phil DiGiuseppe - Him or a boom/bust type like Nieves or Jankowski.
31-Columbus - Brady Skjei - They need all the help they can have, he is BPA here.
32-Edmonton - Oscar Dansk - They get the last of 3 top goalies.
33-Montreal - Michael Matheson - Local kid and really sounds like a Timmins type of pick.

As a Habs fan, I like it, but I'd prefer Galchenyuk at 3rd overall. Also, I can speak French. I'd love to see your original version with French captions.

How did Vasilevski do at the combine? I hope he sucked so we can draft someone other than a goalie at 19. I'd prefer to draft Dansk in the 2nd and BPA at 19, we need more depth in the whole organization. We also have 2 good goalies in the AHL who are much closer to competing than Vasilevski if he ever comes over.

I'd prefer Ceci over Määttä, but can't go wrong with either of them.

Leafs getting Galchenyuk @ 5 has most fans happy. Nice mock man! Interesting seeing a Habs fan throw Grigorenko in at #3. Well done

Ilike it as an Oiler fan. Everyone talks about how we are in need of defence, but I believe we could and probably should draft a goalie at 32 if Subban or Dansk is there

Good draft. As a Flames fan I'd be happy with Maatta, Ceci or Collberg. I just don't want Gaunce.

Passing on Girgensons for Kerdiles would be a big mistake. Esp since I'd be thrilled taking ZG at 12 to begin with (like him better than Gaunce).

Well done. I just do not think Matt will be there at 20, but saying that, if he were there the Flyers may very well take him. However they are very high on Skjei. Either way, this is what they need. Like I said before. Well done.

You won't get flamed at all for selecting Cody Ceci at 14th for the Flames.

In fact, I would say that the majority of Flames fans would be thrilled with that selection (including myself).

Like the mock, good work.

Bit of a general question..

Does anyone think Girgensons could be a bolter this year?

In most mocks he is put around 12-20 range, but i wouldnt be surprised if a team like Anaheim or Carolina draft him in the top 10.

Thoughts?

He's rather inconsistent, and has committed to Vermont. I think that'll scare off anyone in the top 10 when there are some very good defensemen available.
