I haven't been a fan of his play either, but let's keep things in perspective.

Eberle has always been the type of player that needs a quality centre to be fully effective, and RNH has pretty much been a complete disaster ever since Eberle got back into the lineup.

Not trying to slam Eberle with that but 14pts in 27GP isn't good for a player of this calibre. That said I agree Nuge sure isn't helping any. Most of Eberles goals have been good independent efforts.

I'll say this as well that with Eberle even when he's been on 3rd line you at least notice him. I think theres been some effort but struggles to produce. I do think teams key on him more as well since the 34 goal season. Doesn't help.

For those watching last game they split up the top 2 lines later in the game. Drai and Hall have been tailing off a bit of late likely at least in part because they carried the team on their backs for 20ish games. That said IMO RNH has been looking better of late so maybe it's time for him to take some of the load off of Drais shoulders while he gets a chance to catch his breath.

The guy got injured in preseason and had a very slow start to the season.

The fact is that Eberle has 11 pts in last 13 GP and is -1
First 13GP he had 3 pts and was -11

PS.. Only Hall has double digit goals for Oilers.
