Fantilli is a guy who can replace the current elite 8-10 forward group of Mcdavid, Mack, Kuch, Drai, Matthews, Pasta, Panarin, Rantanen, Tkachuk in the next 3-5 years

Bedard, Hagens, Mckenna, Fantilli, Michkov, Wyatt Johnston, Celibrini, Jack Hughes, Leo Carlson, should be the next era version of that group

Wyatt Johnston is unbelievable, that said Fantilli was decently productive on an awful team, and has better pedigree, and is a tad younger. I wish Fantilli wasn't in such a garbage organization. It's a toss up for me. Johnston is an amazing player.

I think Johnston is a consistent 80-90 pt Selke caliber player starting in a year or two. Once he starts getting 1st line PP minutes.

Fantilli's first season outaced Johnston's first season prior to injury. Johnston had 41 in 82 on a top team, Fantilli paced for 45 on a dumpster fire. Too soon to tell, but I personally feel the voting results are skewed by people who are looking at more data for Johnston combined with more exposure due to playoff runs.

This is how I feel and while I think Fantilli could potentially be better at scoring I think Wyatt might turn out to be the better all around player but like many have mentioned it's pretty early and in Wyatt's post draft year he was a great OHL player while Fantilli was a decent NHL rookie.

This is the D+2 line that Wyatt put up and the bar for fantilli next season (he had a .55 PPG this season so one can see him easily passing it...maybe?

Fantilli is much more of a finished product than Johnston. Sky is the limit for Wyatt.

Already a 65 pts season under his belt and it is reasonable to say he can be a PPG player within 2 years.
Not sure Fantilli can be that.
