Very fair deal for both parties. Dillon is a guy who is rock solid as a #3/4 and he can jump on the top pairing in a pinch with the right guys.

I mean isn't this in line with what he should have gotten? Chiarot got 3.5, Edmunson got 3.5, Scandella got 3.25, and Dehaan got 4.5.

I feel like Dillon is the second best in this group and he got paid the second most.

I mean, is Dillon quality? He's okay. Typical shutdown guy. If I'm the Caps, I'm more like why are we paying 9 million dollars and term for three # 4 defensemen on a good day.
