Tip on the first goal

Boeser alone in the slot on the second

Third is boeser walking in and putting it accoss the net after having possession and losing it up the center in our own zone.

Skinner needs to have one but this is piss poor defence.

Add in we have been unlucky in the offensive zone.

Id go Pickard-Campbell at this point.

Skinner is incapable of ever stealing us a win.
Heck, he's incapable of stealing a save.

We can't even get him to save the saves he should have had.

Have you even watched the Dal-Col or Fla-Bos series? There's way more grade A chances than in this series, but they actually have goalies in those series. Even Georgiev who isn't good is playing miles better than Skinner.
They also play better defense than this team against better players. Even if we make it through we are getting swept in the WCF.

The whole team needs to turn it up to 11. They looked flat.
This is the problem, isn't it? They've looked flat the majority of the last 4 games, I've never seen an Oiler playoff team so complacent for so many long stretches. In some ways, this feels like the worst Oilers playoff team since the bubble. I'm just not feeling it with this group.

What can you do as knob though? No way was Pickard going to start after the win in game 2.

No coach in the world is going to start the backup after a win.

Skinner would let in 8 a game vs those teams

88.17% career save pct in playoffs for Skinner... you better score a LOT of goals if that is your goaltending in the playoffs.

That's 80's level goaltending numbers... but unfortunately Oilers aren't scoring 5.5 goals a game to go along with that.

It’s so obviously bad defence. There’s not a coach in the world that would say otherwise.

Oilers left Boeser alone with the goalie on one and Foegele, who shouldn’t even be on this team, gave them a lay up on another. Skinner always gets better as the game goes on.

Mike Smith at least brushed off a bad start and came back in games, playoff Skinner hasnt showed that ability yet

Been an issue with this core through multiple coaches

Agree that it's not all Skinner but it's enough to start 2nd with Pickard

That Vinny chance is 100% a goal against Skinner. But whatever, he's our goalie and they have to figure out.

Wasn't expecting the Canucks to come out so physical. Never seen Lindholm that aggressive. Hopefully they have an answer this period.
