MacKinnon has literally scored 93 playoff points in 70 games. He's #17 in active players in playoff points. Everyone else in the top 20 has at least 30 games on him. He's on pace to be comparable to Crosby and Malkin in playoff points.

Since he's come back from being hurt he's also second in the league in points.

Why would anyone choose Hughes? Sure he's younger. But he's less effective with his time on the ice. He has 3 more points in 8 more games played.

Give me the better player and one of the best playoff performers in the league.

Nah. MacK is a way better player, proven playoff beast and still in his prime.
