I think we could do just fine with either. As for a preference, I'm torn between "practical benefits of starting development a year early" versus "maybe it's deep enough that the starting framework would still be better". I'd have to know more about 2023 prospects to be able to say, and right now I'm barely able to keep dimly aware of how the playoffs are going, let alone watch the draft.
