I think we all can agree that Torterella style of coaching did not fit Wennberg and that Torts wasted a good 2nd line center on a stupid conflict.

I feel like I am in Bizarro World. People for the past 2-3 years keep bringing up Turris and I can't for the life of me understand any logic of it. He under-produced in Nashville while heavily overpaid, and he has outright sucked in Edmonton this year with all of 5 pts in 25 GP and a really awesome -11. Then tack on the fact that this guy is going to be 32 in just a few months, so not exactly a guy with untapped potential here. Turris is -11 on a Tippett coached team, which to me is quite a feat. Truly mind-boggling!!!

You know what you would get if he came here, Sam Gagner at best, only much worse defensively. And I would take Gagner over Turris everyday of the week. I thought we want to be better, not actively worse?
