Would you trade in all that Jack Adams, Hart, Selke, Lady Byng, and Norris trophies-- all of that BS-- for championship #12? Now, obviously if you take away those trophies, then players like Lidstrom, Datsyuk, Fedorov, etc. wouldn't be nearly as renowned as they are as of right now.

I don't really understand the point for this discussion. Stanley Cup is a Trophy Awarded from NHL playoffs and those individual ones are regular season Trophies.

But I would take a Stanley Cup before any individual trophy, of course. Hockey is a team sport.

The Stanley Cup is always the best form of validation...give me a great team over just having a collection of quality players that flame out in the spring.

Just out of curiosity, how many individual awards were won in the four championship years? Fedorov didn't win his Hart in a championship year...I'm sure Nick has won a Norris the same year as a cup year and perhaps a Selke was won then.

Is anyone still bent out of shape over Jackman winning the Calder over Zetterberg? Hank gets the last laugh.
