With the way people are cutting the cord and primarily using the interweb for everything I think they have already replaced many formatted shows.

To me, theybare not entertaining but fall into the genre of entertainment. I certainly don't pay attention to a single one of them. I like filters.

Depends who the guest on the podcast is I guess. Someone in the entertainment industry? Sure. You have you own podcast and you talk to your grandmother? No, I guess not.

I would say it depends on the podcast. I listen to a lot of history podcasts, so I'm not sure I'd call them entertainment, although I do get enjoyment out of listening to them. But I also listen to some comedy and audio drama podcasts that are definitely entertainment (at least to me I guess).
