Well, if a team like UTAH offered their 1C (Bjugstad), 1D (Durzi) and 1G (Ingram) clearly Toronto would not do it and UTAH would love it.

He will not not be moved unless he specifically asks to be moved, or he's in the final year and doesn't want to resign. There are other players they can and will move. Then there's the problem right there. The core doesn't have the right mindset. How can you fix something when the problem doesn't take any accountability in how they can overcome their problem.

Contrary to what the other poster said there is zero evidence that Matthews takes no accountability for where they are. Also, Matthews’ comments about scapegoating were in defense of Mitch Marner who has faced an avalanche of criticism from fans and media here. Not at all saying that some isn’t warranted, but Matthews also isn’t wrong.
