During PTI, there was a guy at Northwestern basketball game that hold the "Free" section for 23 seconds. Honestly, just sing the song properly, no gimmicks.

Not sure about the worst, but Whitney's performance of "The Star Spangled Banner" is unquestionably the greatest rendition of an anthem ever conceived.

Who cares? Outside of the Olympics and other similar international competitions of sport, why do we play the national anthems again? Seems just plain stupid to me. Might as well play a national anthem every time you belch. Makes as much sense.

There was also a CFL game when it was in the US where the person sang O Canada to the tune of O Christmas tree.

Agree with the person above that singing the anthem is pointless and stupid though (but that doesn't mean I can't laugh at bad renditions)
