Both of these logos are pretty good. And the Kraken one is actually great!

That logo is one of the best things Seattle in their first year of existance. It's fantastic. Simple, clean, great colours. I love it.

Seattle is somewhat ugly, but not entirely in a bad way. Carolina is just boring and could be put on any generic commercial product whether it's a washing powder or an energy drink or a financial institution.

Carolina's is bad, but at least it's a valiant attempt at depicting a hurricane.

I actually think Seattle's is pretty cool, especially for a team named the Kraken. They could have done much much worse (and for that matter the same is true for Carolina).

I mean people love the awful Arizona logo and that hasn't been around for that long.

Even at that, the age on the Arizona logo is a major reason for its popularity. The whole reason they brought it back was retro nostalgia as it came up on 20 years of inactivity.

This will be dialed up even more if the team moves. Meet the new Whalers logo.
