How can Alberta be on team Pacific?
Geography the Pacific ocean boarders BC, but it does not boarder Alberta.
Besides that minor fact, team West(the prairie provinces) did not finish in the top 5. I think the West should have had Alberta in the U17.
Sydney Crosby is another interesting point about this years world U17. Crosby is from the Atlantic, and this is his last year he can play in the world U17. But he played for the Canada junior team instead.
Some might say that no one would turn up the opportunity to play for Canada in the world junior, but others would say you play for your home team first.
Who thinks Crosby should have played in the world U17?
